Today marks a little milestone that I’m quite proud of. This is post number 100, and I’m still enjoying every bit of it. Of course, I’ve also received the odd review from good friends along the way — a heartfelt thank you for that!
To make this review a little more special, I’m featuring two older amenity kits that were distributed to Air France Concorde passengers back in the day.
The first pouch is more of a document holder, and I honestly can’t remember whether it came with any contents originally. Quality-wise it’s genuinely impressive — it carries the “Concorde” lettering and features a kind of leather trim around the edges.
Then there’s the more classic amenity kit, which matches the first pouch in color. It closes with a Velcro fastener and is lined with brown leather on the inside.
Contents
- Shoe brush with sewing kit
- Sleep mask
- Eau de Toilette by Lacoste
- Slippers with shoehorn
- Two refreshing towelettes by Revillon
- Two toothbrushes with toothpaste
- Nail file
Verdict
To make the Concorde experience even more special, amenity kits were already being offered back then — which was absolutely not the norm. All the more reason why the contents impress: well thought-out and genuinely high quality.
