Booking
The Hilton group has several hotels in Buenos Aires. For two nights, I decided to stay at the Curio Anselmo in the picturesque neighborhood of San Telmo.
Location
From the airports, you should expect about an hour to the hotel depending on traffic — but in return, you’re right in the charming nightlife and arts district of San Telmo.
Check-In
Check-in was as smooth and relaxed as expected.
Room
The first impression of the room is quite good and bright. On the left side is the bathroom with toilet and shower. As is standard with Hilton, the usual toiletries are available, such as shower gel and shampoo.
In the room itself, alongside the bed, there is a small side table and a work surface. The power outlets are conveniently distributed this time, along with USB charging points — a nice touch.
The generously sized TV is easily visible from the bed. As expected, there is a safe, ironing board, and coffee machine. True to Hilton’s standard, the promised water bottles are also in the room, which I appreciate.
Bar / Restaurant
Breakfast is available as a buffet in the restaurant. There are plenty of seats to sit down, and you can also relax in the lobby outside of restaurant opening hours.
Amenities
The hotel is well located, but unfortunately lacks a pool for relaxing.
Check-Out
Check-out was once again uncomplicated and friendly, just as you’d expect from Hilton.
Verdict
The stay was good value for money, and the location was excellent.
