Since 2018, Lufthansa has been offering a so-called Sleep Shirt in Business Class on flights of 10.5 hours or longer. I’ll keep this review short and sweet.
On long-haul Business Class flights, Lufthansa provides not only an amenity kit but also a “Sleep Shirt” on routes of 10.5 hours or more. It comes from the same manufacturer as the First Class pyjamas — van Laack. Personally, I think the quality is very good, and honestly better than I’d hoped. Not all sizes are always available, and L/XL runs quite large. My tip if you want to keep it: just wash it at a slightly too-hot temperature and it’ll fit perfectly… okay, maybe I shouldn’t be saying that.
Verdict
No Lufthansa bashing from me here — I genuinely think this not-so-new addition is a lovely and very practical touch. For me personally, it’s something really nice and comfortable. Well done, Lufthansa!
