I’ve really stayed here countless times and would like to tell you about it.
Check In
As always, this was very efficient and friendly — I really have to give them great praise for that. Due to the current regulations, however, there were hardly any guests present. As always, I booked directly with the hotel, which also earns Choice points that I’ll cover in another post.
Room
It was a nice surprise to be in room 307 again — this is a Junior Suite on the third floor with a lovely view and more than enough space.
Unfortunately, there was no complimentary fruit this time, which is likely due to the current Corona situation. Still, I’m posting a photo of it because you usually do get this (or alternatively a daily newspaper).
Every room comes with a kettle along with tea and (unfortunately) instant coffee as well as a bottle of water. Normally this is replaced daily, but this time it was only available upon request.
Bathroom
The bathroom isn’t really ideal, I have to admit. The main reason is that it’s quite easy to flood the bathroom floor when showering.
Workspace
While the hotel is a so-called Business Hotel, the chair… oh, the chair is simply a disaster, I have to say. However, the internet works quite fast — you just need to log in (supposedly limited to three devices, but in practice this was never an issue) and then you can stream or work without problems.
Bed
Always comfortable so far, and there are also two pillows. If the pillow doesn’t suit you, you can choose a different one at the reception. The power outlets, by the way, are well placed and plentiful.
Breakfast
For anyone who wants breakfast as an add-on (normally costs 14.50 EURO), here are some photos of the breakfast.
Egg dishes are also brought to your table, by the way — you just need to order them. On Sundays there’s also sparkling wine, you just have to ask for it.
Business Center
Oh, they do have one of these as well. However, it only consists of a single PC and printer. I’ve never used it though — whenever I need something printed, I just send it to the reception. At the moment it’s not in operation anyway.
Check out
This is always very efficient and smooth. The invoice is also scanned and sent via email.
Parking
Parking costs 8 EURO per day. Quite reasonable, actually, but you can also find cheaper parking nearby.
Verdict
For me, it’s always nice to come back here. The service is great — always friendly and upbeat.
