Back in late 2018, Swiss announced its collaboration with Victorinox for the Business Class amenity kits
Victorinox is certainly better known for their excellent pocket knives, but by now they also offer travel luggage, kitchen knives, perfume, and other products. Since Swiss always emphasizes Swissness, such a collaboration was a natural fit. All the more reason I was pleased to finally receive one of these amenity kits on one of my flights.
Appearance
The kit is rather understated — it comes in a black canister and unfortunately doesn’t have much extra to offer beyond the appealing name.
Contents
The contents don’t hold any major surprises either. It includes the following:
- Toothbrush / toothpaste
- Socks
- Lip balm
- Earplugs
- Sleep mask
One nice touch is that you can request a razor or similar items upon ask. Face creams, by the way, are always available in the Business Class lavatory.
Verdict
This amenity kit really only covers the bare essentials — it doesn’t include any true luxury items, but still provides some added value for me when traveling. The collaboration with Victorinox actually raises expectations, but in my opinion, this kit doesn’t quite live up to them.
