Thanks to a trip with a friend who has BA Gold status (Oneworld Emerald) I was able to visit this beautiful lounge at Helsinki Airport today.
Location and Access
Both the Business Lounge (review follows) and the Platinum Wing Lounge are located in the non-Schengen area at Gate 52. In addition to the access regulations, the opening hours also differ. While the Business Lounge is open daily from 05:30 - 00:00, the Platinum Wing Lounge is only open from 10:30 to 17:30.

Amenities
After the entrance, you first pass the toilets and the sauna behind them. Sauna? Yes, that’s right, one of the features of this lounge is that there is a sauna here. Unfortunately, it was closed at the time of my visit - a real shame as there are no pictures (which of course would only have been possible if the sauna had been empty). Showers are also available.

To the left, there is comfortable seating with power sockets at the seats.
On the right-hand side, you will first enter the restaurant area where there is another room with some seating.
The restaurant has both an a la carte menu and a buffet with numerous options. I must honestly say that both the presentation and the quality were at a very good level.
In the end, we ended up with a burger and salmon. Both were very good.
A word about the service - I found it extremely polite and courteous. It was a lot of fun.
Conflusion
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m rather fond of Star Alliance and fly Swiss, Lufthansa etc. quite often. So this experience was all the better as I not only got to know something different, but was also very impressed by the friendliness, quality and service. Anyone who has some time here should definitely make the trip to the lounge and enjoy it.
