Luxembourg Airport only has one lounge available for use. How I liked it during my visits, you’ll find out in this review.
Location and Access
There are two security checkpoints at Luxembourg Airport, though only one was ever open (and that one had long queues). From the security checkpoint on the right side, you just walk straight ahead and you’ll already see the sign for “The Lounge by Luxair”.
Access is available either with a Priority Pass or once again through Lufthansa (since January 1, 2022, depending on ticket and status).
At the entrance, the Covid certificate was checked before you were allowed to enter.
Facilities
Essentially, it’s one large room with various seating, working, and lounge options. The color choices are debatable, but you do get a great view of the apron — something that makes any frequent flyer’s heart beat faster.
Finding power outlets was unfortunately a bit of a hassle, but some seats do have them.
Food and Drinks
Since I was only in the lounge during the morning, I can’t comment on other options. However, I can say that the selection of food and drinks was better than expected.
Other Details
One small but nice detail is that there’s a charging station for mobile phones, as well as some magazines.
The bathroom is also available here in the lounge, though there are no showers. It looked fresh and was clean at all times.
Verdict
Honestly, there’s only one lounge at the airport — for me, it was perfectly sufficient for a short stay. I had to laugh a bit at the photos on Priority Pass — you definitely won’t be served at your table like that. Still, in my opinion it was absolutely adequate, and for my next visit I know what to expect here.
