In Geneva, right after the Swiss Business Lounge, you’ll find the KLM Lounge in Terminal 1. I was able to take a quick look during my visit. Here’s what I thought.
Location
Anyone familiar with Geneva knows the drill — once you’ve navigated your way through Duty Free and found the right exit, take the escalator up. From there, you walk past the two Swiss lounges and the BA Lounge, and at the very end you’ll reach the Air France - KLM Lounge.
Access
For my brief visit (for the review), I used my Priority Pass. KLM/Air France status members are also eligible to use the lounge. One small detail worth noting: Air France First Class guests have a separate corner here — though I wasn’t permitted to photograph it.
Amenities
Essentially it’s just one large room, with check-in handled at the back of the lounge. The staff there were very friendly and everything was sorted quickly.
There are several seating groups as well as dedicated workstations. All of them look attractive and feel inviting.
Work area / Co-working
There’s also a small selection of food and drinks available for self-service, and everything looked fresh. The lounge wasn’t crowded either — though passengers had a knack for sitting in exactly the spots I wanted to photograph.
Conclusion
A perfectly pleasant lounge that I was able to access thanks to my Priority Pass. It more than does the job of bridging the wait for a connecting flight without arriving hungry or thirsty. That said, I wouldn’t make a point of arriving early just for this lounge.
