INTERVALS Sky Bar & Restaurant HKG

The INTERVALS Sky Bar & Restaurant in Hong Kong is a nice alternative for Lufthansa and Swiss First Class guests, though it can't offer a classic lounge ambiance. The food is decent, portions are small, and the selection is limited. It works for a short stay, but it's not a reason to head to the airport especially early.

3.4 / 5

First Class travelers on Swiss or Lufthansa flights from Hong Kong may be a little surprised when they look at the Lufthansa lounge finder. Here, only the INTERVALS Sky Bar & Restaurant is displayed and actively offered on site.

You can find out how I liked it there in this review.

By the way, as a Senator or Business Class traveler you get access to the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge. However, I only have a few pictures here, so there will only be a short review soon.

Location and Access

In any case, it is nice that you are accompanied to the restaurant. That is, if you want to.

Otherwise, the restaurant is located in Terminal 1 by the Sky Bridge on level 9. There are lifts and they are between gates 12 and 24. As it is a public restaurant, any guest can of course visit the restaurant and order something. You can see what Lufthansa / Swiss offers in the review below.

The opening hours are from Monday to Sunday from 7am -11:30pm.

Amenities

Anyone expecting a lounge offer will unfortunately be disappointed here. This is a separate area provided for Lufthansa / Swiss First Class or HON guests.

There is also a small menu from which you can order as much as you like.

This is what it looked like during my stay:

The finished “result” looked like this:

The taste of the food was quite good and gave no reason to complain. The portion size is on the small side. Nevertheless, you don’t have to worry about starving before your flight.

The reason for choosing this restaurant is mainly due to the departure times of Lufthansa and Swiss. If you were to depart earlier (which is not possible due to the night flight ban in Zurich and Frankfurt), there are other alternatives.

Conclusion

I think it’s a very nice idea. Of course I wondered why you can’t have a separate area in the SQ Lounge. However, the offer there was not outstanding either. Basically, I appreciate that there was an alternative. It worked for me at the time, but it’s also no reason to get to the airport extra early. I would also be interested to hear your comments.
