With the Acqua di Parma amenity kit, Air Canada is finally setting a real quality benchmark in Business Class. The fragrance, packaging, and materials impress across the board – only a lotion or aftershave is still missing. Overall, a clear upgrade over previous kits and worthy of Business Class.

The offering is limited to packaged snacks, some salad, and a small bar — expectations should be set accordingly. Anyone using this lounge does so primarily to escape the terminal, not to be pampered.

An absolute highlight for travelers that you'll gladly want to schedule extra time for.

Minor shortcomings in build quality and unreliable showers slightly tarnish the picture, but are offset by dedicated staff. For travel within the African continent, Addis Ababa as a connecting hub and Ethiopian Airlines are a recommendable alternative to the Gulf carriers.
