Location
After security (easiest via the Gold Track), near Gate 25/26 on the first floor.
Access
This Star Alliance Gold Lounge admits guests either with a Star Alliance Gold card (or higher) or a Business Class ticket.
Amenities
One notable feature of this lounge is that it has a lounge within the lounge. Most of the photos below are from this inner section — it’s labeled as the HON Lounge, but Senator members are also granted access. The food and beverage selection here is considerably more premium.
Your boarding pass is checked again at the entrance before you’re admitted.
On the left side you’ll find drinks and food. Behind that are several seating areas. I have to say, the overall food and beverage offering is genuinely impressive.
Separate small work areas are also available.
A dedicated restroom is also located within the lounge.
Further back you’ll find additional seating that tends to be less crowded.
Unfortunately the main Business Lounge was quite busy during my visit, so I wasn’t able to get many decent photos. There’s also a bar where fresh cocktails are made, though it was unstaffed at the time of my visit.
Next to it there’s plenty of additional seating as well as a self-service food station.
A spa offering is also available, though it has never been actively pointed out to me nor have I managed to make use of it so far.
Verdict
Definitely one of the better lounges you can visit, and clearly a step above Lufthansa’s Senator Lounges. I’ve always left satisfied, and it’s particularly refreshing that there’s been no cost-cutting here whatsoever. I’ll absolutely be coming back.
