Location
In the Schengen area near Gate G 27 / G 28 you’ll find the Senator Café. Perhaps often overlooked by many, but still an oasis of relaxation — and for a quick stop, you really have everything you need here.
Access
You have access to the lounge if you hold Senator or Gold status with a Star Alliance airline. A nice detail, by the way, is that you can also lock up your luggage here. In addition, there’s a selection of magazines and newspapers available.
Food and Drinks
Well, it is quite small here (but lovely). So in my opinion, the space has been used as well as possible. On the left side there’s a staffed bar where you can also get small snacks such as warm sandwiches or drinks.
Then there’s a small buffet where you can help yourself. There’s also self-service water on several tables. The seating is quite nice, and you can usually always find a spot here.
You’ll search in vain for a restroom here, but I think that’s perfectly understandable given the limited space.
Verdict
For a quick or otherwise pleasant stop, I think this lounge is really great. Even as a HON I like to stop by here to see familiar faces and enjoy excellent service. For me, a real highlight among the Lufthansa lounges.
