Singapore Airlines Lounge – London (LHR)

The Singapore Airlines Lounge at London Heathrow impresses with a good food and beverage selection as well as clean sanitary facilities including showers. The long walk of around 30 minutes to the Terminal 2 Satellite should definitely be factored into your travel planning.

This Lounge has been renovated in 2024 - so these pictures are from the time before the renovation.

In the course of a trip to London, I was at the airport early. This allowed me to visit the Singapore Airlines Lounge in Terminal 2. This is the first Singapore Airlines lounge outside of Singapore.

Location and access

The lounge is located after the security check, in the Terminal 2 satellite. This means that you should allow around half an hour for the walk. Access to the lounge is available to customers in Business and First Class, as well as to status holders (Star Gold).

Amenities

The lounge is elongated and has several areas where food is offered. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-lit. There are also showers here - these can simply be reserved on site.

The food and drinks are of good quality and the selection is suitable, with both Asian and Western dishes on offer. The selection of drinks is impressive and you can order a Singapore Sling at any time.

Large windows overlooking the apron create a pleasant ambience and the desire to travel with a view of the planes increases more and more.

Conclusion

The lounge is really worth a visit, if the flight departs from the main terminal, make sure you allow enough time for the walk.
