In Terminal 2 of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport there are several lounges. I booked my flight out of Taipei with EVA Air, so I was dependent on Star Alliance lounges. EVA Air itself operates four lounges. With my Business Class ticket, I gained access to The Infinity Lounge.

Location and Access

The Infinity Lounge is located beyond passport and security control in Terminal 2. The signage to the lounge is pleasantly clear.

Access to the lounge is granted exclusively to Business and First Class passengers. I’m including the adjacent The Star Lounge in this review since, at the time of my visit, most lounges were closed due to Corona.

Amenities

The lounge is very bright and offers a view of the check-in area. The design attempts to combine a futuristic touch with traditional values.

With its sparkling ceiling lights and elegantly curved walls, The Infinity is a futuristic lounge area. Here passengers can enjoy delicious Chinese and Western cuisine and use the modern, themed shower rooms. Most seats in The Infinity have power outlets, and the lounge offers super-fast WiFi.

In addition to the obligatory, very bright and clean restrooms, there are several subdivisions into rest and dining areas. The showers are generous and modern. EVA Air does not have a First Class, so there is also no dedicated area. Business areas as well as the comfortable seats are all equipped with power outlets. The WiFi was stable; YouTube and other streaming services run without any problems.

The selection of soft drinks, hot beverages and alcohol is generous. The food is of good quality and covers tasty regional specialties as well as an international touch. From European to Chinese influences, you’ll find dishes adapted to the time of day.
