The Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 4 is a solid airport hotel for an overnight stay, standing out mainly for its direct location at the terminal. Status guests hoping for an upgrade may be disappointed – but the hotel reliably meets all basic requirements.
The view of Niagara Falls is truly breathtaking and the clear highlight of the stay. The hotel itself, however, is no longer up to modern standards – the rooms feel dated and an executive lounge is missing. Acceptable for a short stop with a falls view, but nothing more.
The Hilton Toronto Downtown impresses with friendly service and a complimentary upgrade to a King Sky View room. The central location with direct access to public transit makes it a solid city hotel. Overall a good stay at a reasonable price-to-value ratio.
The stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Milan Malpensa was fair value for the price and met the expectations of a typical airport hotel. Service and rooms were solid, but the shuttle only runs hourly and the signage at the airport leaves something to be desired. For a longer stay in Milan, a hotel in the city centre is a better bet.
The newly opened Hyatt Place at The Circle at Zurich Airport, which opened on December 15, 2021, exceeded all expectations — from the stylish lobby to the room with a runway view. The service was exceptionally friendly, and even at the opening everything ran smoothly. For aviation enthusiasts and travelers flying out of Zurich, this hotel comes highly recommended.
The Hilton Amsterdam Airport stands out primarily for its excellent lounge access for status members and attractive promotions. The location right at the airport is convenient, though you should budget around 10 minutes of walking from the terminal. It's worth comparing prices with the nearby Sheraton, but the Hilton has the edge when it comes to lounge access.
