The Radisson Blu Lisbon impresses with its proximity to LIS airport, friendly service, and generous status recognition for VIP members. The room furnishings are solid but no longer up to date – a renovation would be welcome. For a quick overnight stay before or after a flight, it's a convenient and reliable choice.
Hotel Telegraaf impresses mainly with its unbeatable location right on Tallinn's Town Hall Square and its attentive service, especially at the bar. At the regular rate of around EUR 746, however, the offering falls short – the pool, whirlpool, and breakfast area are too small, and the overall impression doesn't justify the price.
If you're a fan of classic luxury, the LXR Habtoor Palace delivers exceptionally well — the name Palace is no coincidence. The hotel impressed with a generous upgrade, excellent service, and elegantly designed rooms. The only downside is the somewhat inconvenient connection to the metro in extreme heat.
The location right next to the castle and the generous upgrade to the King Junior Danube Suite thanks to Hilton Diamond status made this stay a real highlight. For the price paid, you really can't go wrong here. The food in the lounge as well as the helpful nature of the staff make you want to come back.
The Hilton Barra impresses with a modern ambiance, spacious rooms, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The service is friendly and attentive, especially for Diamond Members. The location in the Barra district is modern and comparatively safe, but far from the main attractions.
The rooms show their age a little, but the sensational location right on Copacabana, the attentive service, and the friendly staff more than make up for it. The rooftop pool with bar rounds off the experience in style — a return visit is definitely planned.
The Waldorf Astoria in Dubai's Financial District impresses with spacious suites, attentive service, and an excellent location near the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. If you're looking for a touch of luxury, this is the place to be – an absolute highlight.
The Crowne Plaza Hamburg City Alster delivers exactly what it promises: a solid city hotel at a fair price. The suite impressed with generous space and a bright bathroom, though the experience was slightly dampened by ongoing construction nearby and a long check-in wait. Overall a satisfactory stay with no major surprises.
The Hilton Tallinn Park impresses above all with an excellent price-to-value ratio and a central location from which the city centre is easily reachable on foot. Status members benefit from attractive perks such as suite upgrades and small extras. Service was a little sluggish at times, but this barely detracts from the overall positive impression.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg offers solid Hilton quality overall, but with a few caveats — including a water issue in the adjoining room and limited access to amenities such as the pool and sauna. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, the room was spacious and clean, yet the hotel didn't fully win me over. Due to a lack of alternatives among my preferred hotel chains, it still deserves a second chance.

The Executive Lounge offers a solid breakfast and an appealing evening happy hour. What stands out most is the attentive handling of our check-in despite lost luggage — an experience that leaves a lasting positive impression.
The JW Marriott Hong Kong impresses with a stunning lobby, spacious harbour-view suites, and an excellent Club Marriott Lounge offering that delivers on every front — from breakfast to the evening buffet. Check-in was a bit of a drawn-out affair when it came to the upgrade, but ultimately all Bonvoy status benefits were granted. All in all, a hotel you'd book again without hesitation — especially with lounge access.
The Conrad Hong Kong impresses above all with its generous, elegant rooms, a strong Executive Lounge, and a solid overall package for Hilton status members. The service was friendly, though not always seamless — there were minor hiccups at both check-in and check-out. Overall, a highly recommended luxury hotel in Hong Kong, especially with lounge access.
The Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah impresses with excellent service, generously sized rooms, and an outstanding breakfast. The location on the Palm is a bit removed from the main attractions, but offers exactly the peaceful atmosphere you'd want for a short stay. Anyone visiting Dubai and looking to experience the Palm will find this hotel — especially during the off-season — a clear recommendation.
